Detailed policy documents can be found in the adjacent links. We know most will never read them, but normal reasonable people still wonder. The detailed policy is our fallback position. The business aim at Solid Fluid is to facilitate. The company believes in simplicity and clarity. Below, the most commonly queried policy is outlined exactly so.
Our Model
Aside from consultancy, Solid Fluid aims to sell physical products in bulk through agents. We sell products directly, for the benefit of those with small quantity needs. If you wish to become a sales agent, contact us – we would be pleased to make an agreement.
Sales Policy
We 100% test all products that we sell. We know they leave our door in working condition. We know our products meet the description in the datasheet. If you need a different, but similar product – contact us, it is likely we can engineer a solution if it is financially astute. If you find that a product you buy from us does not match the description in the datasheet we want to understand why. We can refund, replace or repair at your discretion, but we need to assess the failed unit as a part of the arrangement. We hope that you will make your best effort to preserve and return any failed unit as closely as possible to the condition immediately after failure.
Returns Policy
If you need to return any of our products, we ask that you contact us in the first instance. We will provide an RMA number so that we can track the return. For any single unit, your statutory UK consumer rights apply. On units we sell directly and in small quantities, we offer a one year no quibble warranty. We reserve the right to refuse repeat sale if we believe a warranty has previously been abused. Outside of the one year warranty period, if a unit does not appear to have been abused, but fails and has been returned sufficiently carefully to allow detailed analysis, a refund or replacement will normally be issued. We don’t expect field failures, but they can occur. Detailed knowledge of those failures is valuable to us.
Business Sales
For bulk business sales, terms will be agreed on a case by case basis. We remain interested in faulty units. Warranty terms may differ. We cannot usually accept bulk returns without inspection and a restocking charge. Large volumes of abused stock will not generally be accepted for refund.
Website Policy
Abuse, profanity and spam are not acceptable on our website. We reserve the right to reject/eliminate any such material and/or source without notice.
